OUR JOURNEY

WITHIN THE UNIQUE TRANSVERSE VALLEY OF SANTA YNEZ LIES OUR BELOVED LIVING LIFE VINEYARD, OUR THRIVING 20-ACRE ESTATE VINEYARD SITUATED IN THE HEART OF THE LOS OLIVOS DISTRICT AVA.

Formerly known as Hampton Vineyard, this vibrant, south-facing site was planted over two decades ago by pioneering Santa Barbara County grape grower Dale Hampton, who recognized its extraordinary potential for Syrah. All these years later, those same vines bathe in sunlight from morning to night, further benefiting from well-draining soils, gentle cooling breezes, clean and abundant groundwater, and thriving cover crops that enrich microbial life – the perfect recipe for cultivating balanced, expressive wines that celebrate this site’s unique character.

While we’ve expanded to source quality fruit from renowned vineyard sites within the Santa Ynez Valley, including the Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara AVA, Living Life Vineyards remains the heart and soul of our work. It’s where our roots run deepest and where every vintage instills in us a sense of purpose and pride for this special place.
